New Idea for a short film

So recently because as it turns out I'm full of surprises, I have been warming to the idea of a short film instead of a music video. I like the idea of having an actual storyline with actual dialogue.
I did have an idea for a short film
The idea is to show the life of a pair of headphones... I know bare with me. So in this short film the different ear pieces talk to each other as if they are two different people stuck together for eternity. 

I think it would be good as it could show off two really strong characters and a distinguished relationship which could be made into a comedy or any genre at all if the characters and script I written right.
